You've seen the headlines. You've heard the horror stories. AI using images of people to create scams, undressing people, and more heinous things out of our control.
Now, you have to worry about what your photographer is doing with your images. I take your privacy seriously, and the safety of you and your children's identity is important to me. So, I canceled my AI editing software.
Photographers have a lot of editing to do and it gets tiresome at times to look at every single image and make slight changes here and there. Artificial Intelligence took the menial tasks out of editing and sped up the process. I could edit a wedding in a day. WOW! But what I wasn't thinking about was how my images were being uploaded to someone else's software, saved to their servers, and it was being trained on how I work.
Sure, I don't know the ins and outs of AI, but as we keep learning about the stuff the tech companies get away with daily, we can't help but be wary about trusting them with the most personal parts of ourselves. AI has no real government restrictions, therefore it can get away with next to anything.
Not to mention the environmental impacts that AI has on the planet.
So I make a promise to my clients, that I will not be uploading their images to AI software. I will not be using AI software to speed up my editing, because you deserve to know that you're protected.
