An Emerald Lake Proposal


Emerald Lake can be a tough spot to get some peace, but we had the place all to ourselves. I am obsessed with Crested Butte, and even lived there from 2016-2018 while I attended grad school at Western Colorado University. Brent and Ashley felt the same way and met me out at their favorite lake in the state.


One thing about proposals is that I don't meet people before this, so we all just hope everyone shows up at the same place and time as we agreed. In Colorado, you often don't have cell service either, so the stress can be extra high. I have a 100% success rate so far, but knock on wood.


I give every couple a bottle of champagne to blow off and celebrate with, because why not? We organize the meeting spot and time and I send them a photo of what I look like and get a photo of what they look like in return so I don't shoot the wrong proposal.


Then I set it up, send them to info, and the rollercoaster begins.
