Blame it on fate.

Dan was a cancer survivor and Amy was a victim of a drunk driving incident. When they reached out to me, Dan was the most enthusiastic groom I had ever met. I knew right away this meant a lot to them, but I didn't know how much until we officially met at the Maroon Bells outside of Aspen, Colorado.

Sweet Benny

"Can we bring our dog?" is a question I get often. Benny was most certainly going to be the only guest in attendance, and he stole the show. My dad always says that if you want to really know someone, get to know their pet. Benny was an amalgamation of both Dan and Amy's love.

Having Gratitude for the Small Things

I have spent the last year really learning the true meaning of expressing gratitude, even for the small things; The ability to smell coffee, finding a nice spot to spend time writing, the deep conversations over a tarot reading surrounded by candle light. We don't know we are experiencing the 'good times' until they are gone. What if this is as good as it gets?

It's pretty darn good, if you ask me.
